DEGREE : MD/MPHDUAL DEGREE
INTRODUCTION
This program combines the MD program with a one year Masters in Public Health or one year Masters in Business Administration. While the core requirements for both management degrees are the same, the electives are different and will determine which degree is awarded.

DESCRIPTION
This One-Year is your fastest path to an MBA or MPH degree. By combining the MD program with the MPH equipsthe student with proficiencies in management and medicine to become an influential leader in the ever-changing healthcare industry.

PREREQUISITE
Students enroll in SAISOM on a full-time basis for the first three years before taking a dedicated year to enroll full-time at SAIIMT to begin the MPH program.
Enrollment at SAIIMT takes place in the fourth year and extends through the fall and spring semesters to complete the CORE requirements for the management degree.
Students then return to the medical school to complete the Clinical Medicine requirement. This is followed by the final semester of the Management electives.
Students are awarded the MD upon completion of the Clinical Medicine requirement.
Upon completion of the elective courses the MPHor MBA degree is awarded.
DURATION
The dual MD/MPH or MD/MBA degree takes five years to complete, representing a savings of one year compared to the length of time required to earn the two degrees separately.
