Medicine Meets Management
SAIIMT offers dual degree programmes that integrate one year of full-time management study into the MD curriculum. Students save a full year compared to completing the two degrees separately, graduating with both an MD and an MPH or MBA.

SAIIMT offers two dual degree programmes combining the SAISOM MD with a one-year management qualification. Both share the same core curriculum — the elective courses determine which degree is awarded.
MD/MPH Dual Degree
Master of Public Health – 5-Year Programme
Combines the MD programme with a one-year Master of Public Health. Equips physicians with proficiencies in healthcare management, public policy and epidemiology to lead in the changing healthcare industry.

The MD/MPH dual degree combines the SAISOM MD programme with a one-year full-time Master of Public Health. By combining both programmes the student gains proficiencies in management and medicine to become an influential leader in the ever-changing healthcare industry. The dual degree takes five years to complete — one year less than completing both degrees separately.

Important: Students enrol in the management programme in Year 4 of the MD. The MD is awarded upon completion of the Clinical Medicine requirement. The MPH degree is awarded upon completion of the elective courses.
The MD/MBA dual degree combines the SAISOM MD programme with a one-year full-time Master of Business Administration. The MBA develops business strategy, finance, marketing and leadership skills that prepare physicians to lead clinics, healthcare organisations and industry partnerships. The programme shares the same core curriculum as the MPH — only the electives differ.
