Office of the Dean of Academic Affairs
The office of Academic Affairs is driven by cultivating an environment that supports academic success and personal well-being while students are in school and provide students with the skills and experience to flourish in your chosen career path after graduation. To accomplish this, it takes the collective efforts of a dedicated team of teaching faculty, education experts, faculty leaders, technology teams, clinical and basic science department staff and administrative staff who are here to help you step of the way from the time you apply to celebrating with you at graduation.
The Office of Academic Affairs supports both the students and the faculty from the time they join SAIU.
The staff members of the Office of Academic Affairs provide a welcoming environment for our students, designed to enhance their professional development, and support major school events to celebrate the milestones of their medical school careers.
Medical students are assigned an advisory faculty member when they enter the Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) program, and that dean will follow them throughout medical school.
